I love planning my kid’s birthday parties. It’s something that I get a little too much into and start planning months and months in advance. What can I say? I’m a designer at heart and it makes me so happy to see when these parties come together. I can’t wait until Misha is old enough to tell me what theme he wants… because it’s not easy trying to decide on just ONE theme for a party.
One of my favourite things about this setup was the bunting, cake topper, “flying” airplanes, and cupcake toppers. I made them all myself and I’m so happy with how they had turned out. If you’d like some of these things for your next party, visit my shop!
Our house has high ceilings, so I wanted to take advantage of that somehow. I made some 3-piece cardstock airplanes, taped them to fishing line, and then tied them to helium-filled balloons above the dessert table. It turned out super cute and added a little something extra to the party! Misha absolutely loved it.
I hope you get some inspiration for your kid’s airplane birthday party from this post! I’ve listed the sources below if you’re interested in any of the items you see in the photos.
